Jegs ssr Mags fitment help 15x8 17x4.5
Just picked up a set of Mags 15x8 0 offset 4.5 on 255/60/15 BFG Radials with 17x4.5 -24 Offset 1.75 backspacing M&H Race Masters. One of my issues being the wheels ended up being 5x4.5 so I’m gonna need an adapter to 5 x4.75 to mount them my question is what adapter spacing would keep my car tighter to the inside of fenders? I know the rears are gonna poke some just don’t wanna have them out too far or have to beat my wells in. Smallest I’ve been able to find is 3/4” but not sure that’s what I need. Any help would be appreciated, 92 RS suspension all stock

Honestly...with the wrong offsets and wrong bolt pattern, get new wheels. Hands down the best option.
The problem is that up front you're sitting pretty already at 0mm. Any adapter is gonna push it out farther than you want. Out back, with a -24 offset, you're already gonna stick out 24mm too far. That's about an inch. ....obviously any adapter will only add to that. Still, if this is what you choose to do, you want the smallest adapter you can safely use. I say safely because as adapter get thinner, they get weaker. Less material. Check out Bora wheel adapters. They're a pretty big name. They should be able to give you a straight answer on what is safe. I doubt they'd sell something unsafe, whereas some random site off eBay, ehhhh ya never know.

I am 0 offset in rear on 15x8 and -24 in front on 17x4.5 not vice versa

Gotcha. ...well either way, you're not gonna have proper fitment. Looks are, well, superficial, so it's really up to you I guess. I feel like the fronts are gonna rub when turned, but of course I don't know for sure. Still vote for proper wheels for proper fitment.

Re: Jegs ssr Mags fitment help 15x8 17x4.5
Been in talks with Jegs most of the day back and forth and according to my specs and all their 1.25” adapter should have me fairly close to stock fitment in the front (so they say) 17x4.5 end result being .5” back spacing to 4” front spacing and rear 15x8 should clear fine 3.25” back spacing to 4.75” front spacing. We shall see, worst case maybe I can have some adapters fabricated or just sell the wheels I should have my parts tomorrow to test fitment and go from there, kind of a trial and error I reckon, I love my stock look but found this deal and felt like it’s time for something new. Looks aren’t all that matters by no means, just don’t want it sticking too far out in the wild my main concern was my fenders and quarter panels I absolutely don’t want to thrash them, I’ll post pics of the setup tomorrow afternoon once they arrive. I appreciate the input!

I am more worried about being a 295/60/15 BFG Radial and having to add an adapter due to wrong pattern it sticking out and damaging my quarter or just looking ridiculous. But 0 offset 4.5” backspacing and adding the 1.25” should be fairly reasonable too as a 3.75 backspace I would imagine.
It’s all a learning process with this no doubt

Buy the right wheels and cut your losses, the rears definitely wont work with needing a spacer. You'd probably end up with the fender hitting the tire with any dip in the rear suspension

Actually it fit quite nice, even after the 1.25” Jegs adapter it ended up being more or less right where I was wanting the wheels to sit. Have plenty of clearance in rear but I am having my fenders rolled next week. Overall satisfied with how it turned out.

Who told you the specs of the wheel? If you actually have 4.50bs and add 1.25 adapter it should be sticking out. I cant tell from your pic but it looks inside the fender
This is what a 4.5bs on a 15x8 looks like

This is how it sits with the way the Radials bubble they poke out fairly decent on the sidewall but haven’t had much issue with it. I live out in the sticks with rough roads and my rear suspension needs a complete overhaul that’s next up but have only had a few hard bumps that cause a slight scrub only passenger rear. Fenders to be rolled next week, might drop down to a 3/4” adapter in rear just because I have found a pair local but overall it is fine til I figure out what’s next for suspension
