Tire size for 10.5

Found some 18x10.5 and 18x8.5 c6 replicas. Need tire suggestions for rear. Size? Drag radial vs slick? Brand? Street driven occasional auto x at qualcomm. Any input is appreciated thanks.

Re: Tire size for 10.5

In theory, you'd want a 285/30 on an 18x10.5, but 275/35s can be had super cheap, and 295/35s would be the popular look for street use. For autocross, sell the 8.5s and get 2 more 10.5s, they can tuck if you get the spacer thickness right.

Re: Tire size for 10.5

I run 285/35/18 on the front and 285/40/18 rear. 285/30 is shorter than stock. 35's worked fine on the rear, 40's required rolled lips and a slight bump on the inner fender. 18x10.5 all the way around.

Re: Tire size for 10.5

Thanks for the suggestions. Going 285s..looking for c6 style 18x10.5 like the ones i have and it seems they dont make them. Only 19s.. most likely getting a mismatched set i can swap for auto x..

Any input on slicks vs drag radial?

Re: Tire size for 10.5

If you plan to autocross and any real street driving, forget slicks and drag radials. they wont hold up
