Looking for cheap rims to run 335s. C6 ZR1 replicas? Been done?

I currently have C5 ZR1 rims that are 9.5 front and 11" rear. I want to get something wider for the back. Something around 12" wide for the back. I also dont want to spend a ton on rims, so I tend to only look at replica rims. the C6 ZR1 has some 12" knock offs. Has this been done, I tried a search and came up with nothing. I am going to be minitubbing. I was hoping to find something with a super deep lip, but after doing a bit of searching, everything like that is CRAZY expensive and I want to toss more cash at air ride.

So suggestions or links. Thanks.

If you have the performance that requires that wide of a tire, why would you skimp out on some cheap replicas? I hear too many stories of people busting the centers of replicas at tracks. You know REAL C6 ZR1 wheels are strong, why not get a pair?

If you're more of a show type, disregard my concerns.

I have a 390 fed by a f1 procharger. Blue thru setup with a fmic. I am trying to shoot for 650+ rwhp thru my moser 12 bolt and chromoly drive shaft.

With that said, there are no tracks near me, at all. This car is just a weekend toy and a drive to work in the summer sort of thing. I do like going to shows, but it is not a show car. I have never heard of replicas breaking. My current rims are replicas, and like I said it is a weekend toy, not an all out race car. I do agree with you that original rims are better. There is website called oe wheels that sells "take offs" of corvette wheels that I like. I really like the gunmetal grand sport rims, but wanted to know if there is anything out there similar that I didn't know about.

Since you're doing a minitub setup for 335s, I don't see what the issue would be then with 12'' rims. I have the c6 zr1s but only 9.5 in the rear on 285 tires

I know there is no issue during them. I am just looking to see if people knew of other inexpensive options. I also want to run air ride, and that gets complicated with such a wide tire. You start tuning out of room down there, fast.

No one else has any experience trying to find inexpensive 12" wide rims?

Re: Looking for cheap rims to run 335s. C6 ZR1 replicas? Been done?

It's about what you want. If it looks good to you, and you care how it looks, then try it. If you're more about fitting 12s however they look, then start with the cheapest 12s, get thick spacers, then keep getting the spacers milled until you get the best test-fit. But 19s will look wrong if you don't have at least 13" brakes behind them, front and rear. High-dollar 14" 6-piston kits exist, but C6 13.2" is actually affordable.
