Hubcentric or Lugcentric?!?

I Really Hope Someone Can Clear This Up...

I am about to purchase 17x8.5/18x9.5 C5 wheels and i need to see who here is using the Hubcentric adapters and who is using the Lugcentric adapters.

Also can you share your experiences with EZAccessory or Motorsport-tech in regards to your Hubcentric or Lugcentric adapters.

They both carry Hubcentric with 70.3mm Bore, but ive heard there may be issues with the front Hubs being to long.

Thank you,

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Re: Hubcentric or Lugcentric?!?

Hubcentric is better and preferred but it is not the end of the world if you run lug-centric. With the Hub-centric you have better centering as the Hub also helps to center the wheel whereas lug-centric you only have the lugs centering it. I have run the lug-centric before and as long as I properly tightened them and did the tightening in 2 or three increments I could not feel a vibration until 80mph or so, but I can't definately say the vibration was from the lug-centric adapters. Most knowledgeable wheel guys will also tell you to run the ARP studs moreso with the lugcentric stuff. But studs break off or strip over time anyway so I say upgrade to them anyway.
