would look amazing on third gen

These rts wheels in the pics although would have to minitub rear and possibly run a narrower front than this one to clear. There is an article on where they narrowed the 4th gen rear and all the specs on the setup but i didnt find the exact link on the page. I have the mag though.

Re: would look amazing on third gen

They stuck a set of these on this Camaro project car on Chevyhardcore.com

http://www.chevyhardcore.com/project...und-and-round/

Thing is that they are about $525 each and because of application might not have the proper backspacing to use 17" x 9.5" all around (might need small spacers on front). 18" are $648 each in 9.5" width...

As much as I like those wheels, in that price range there are plenty of other styles that I like a lot better.

One thing that I really don't like is that at least for the 17" wheel, the spokes look like the same size as the ones on the 16" wheel, and they made up the difference with an extra-wide hoop. I never cared for that look. The 18" look like they have a taller spoke and a more restrained hoop size.

Re: would look amazing on third gen

the Weld RTS line of wheels are made to fit diff size of calipers.
you can get the spokes more flat with standard stock calipers.
know has Low pads

when going with aftermarket rotors you can move up to med pad
= more loop

and all the way up to larg pad, bigger bow on the spoke.

stock calipers sigle piston and 1LE Will take a low pad Spokes are flat looking.

just so ya know

Why would you think you'd need to run a narrower front wheel? You can fit an 18x10 pretty easily. You can even squeeze an 18x11 up there. And that only require some messaging and cutting in the rear if you are going for that tucked look. If you want your wheels flush they'll fit with minimal work, which is completely dependent on tire size.

With that said I've been considering those RTS wheels for awhile now...
