Anyone have Fuzion ZRi tires?

Since many of us are not completely happy with the offerings from Goodyear/BFG/Firestone, time to consider alternatives for our cars.

This tire comes in our size, seems to get good reviews, is good looking and is reasonably priced. Anyone with first hand knowledge on it?

Re: Anyone have Fuzion ZRi tires?

I have those in the 245/50R16 on my car. I put these on it shortly after I bought it because it had dry rotted gatorbacks on it. They have lots of grip in the dry, but in the cold, or wet you had better be careful. I was trying to move it around in my driveway which is sealed asphalt, when there was snow on the ground, the only way to get it to go anywhere was to have people push it around, the tires just spun in the rear.... zero grip in freezing temperatures.

I used to have them when I was running stock rims, and I was happy with them, but then again I hardly ever drive it in the rain.

I have a set of the 255/50/16 on my GTA rims and thought they gripped ok and had a decent ride. I only ran them for about 2 months before I switched to my 17" so I cant comment on the tire wear

They're okay, but can't hold a candle to the KDW's they replaced in 245/50/16.

Oh, so you were saying in regards to the factory 245/50/16 size offerings?

Re: Anyone have Fuzion ZRi tires?

I had ZRi's on a different car and loved them till the first snow fall. Imagine front wheel drive with traction control and the car wouldnt go over 20mph on a snow covered road because the wind resistance was too much and the traction control would activate. They were like glue in the summer though. I have Bridgestone Potenza RE 960 pole positions because my work stopped having the Fusions in stock. I thought Fusion ZRi were getting discontinued.
