c6 wheels adapter sizes?
i have a set of 18x 9.5 front and 18x10.5 rear c6 oe wheels replicas for my 86 t/a ,im installing a 4th gen rear end wich will fix the need for rear spacers, but for the front, the wheels are 56 offset, meaning 2.2 inches, that gives 6.95 inches backspace,right?so.. i have stock brakes and i may swap for 1le eventually,so id like to put the right adapter that fits right now and would still fit with wider rotors, were taklking bout .25 inch aprox....so im unsure between 1.5 1.75 or 2 inch adapter,if someone did the same ,any suggestions about what to buy? what would be max backspacing 5.5 or 5 ,there seems to be confusion on the site about that, ill have a 1.5 drop as wll to take into consideration.

i used 2" adapter and also gave it another 5/16" b/c with just the 2" the front wheel was tucked too far in for my liking but just the 2" adapter would work i wouldnt go any smaller than that as far as the 1le brakes i dont know how much it would change

Re: c6 wheels adapter sizes?
from what i understand, in you other posts, you have 18 x 8.5 right? that would change the offset and backspace,by 1/2 inch in 1/2 inch out, therefore 1.5 would look the same on my car than 2 on yours.

oh my bad, i didnt see that your offset and bs were different i had assumed that they were the same but yea if thats what your adding up then thats what you can go with but since your wheels are going to be wider than mine your biggest worry is going to be rubbing on the inside b/c even i rubbed especially on the rears with the 10" wide wheel

Re: c6 wheels adapter sizes?
hey, i think yours rub cause the factory 19x10 have a 79 mm offset, wich is 3.11 inches, then 10 inches wich is your wheel divided by 2 is 5 inches plus that 3.11 offset, gives you 8.11 inches backspace, minus 2 inch spacer, means 6.11, its probly that .11 that rubs!lol. you would have needed 2.25 spacers instead of 2''. mine are 10.5 but with only 58 offset, wich gives me 6 inches backspacing,it wont rub, rim is gonna be equal with fender lip with 2 inch spacer,in my case no spacers cause i use a 4th gen rear end, wich is 2 inch longer on each side. ive got pretty much everything figured out for the rear, its just the front that im not sure.
