BFG G force drag radial vs. Mickey Thompson dot drag radials

Who makes the better DOT approved drag radial, the BFG G Force or the Mickey Thompson ET Streets?

Re: BFG G force drag radial vs. Mickey Thompson dot drag radials

Depends on what you are looking for....

The BFG is more of a soft compound street tire, whereas the MT is a semi legal treaded race tire. You will get much less tread life on the MT, but more traction. I would not recommend either in the rain.

How much power does the car have?
Are you looking for a tire to drive to the track & race on?

Are you willing to accept under 5K miles on a set? MT

Is this a daily driver that you want more traction with? BFG

More traction on the MT.....
The BFG need to be heated hard to get 'em sticky. for drag racing, Mt's are my preference....

You didn't mention them, but Nitto drag radials are also very good - ride like high performance tires and hook very well at the track.
