That wheel wont work our cars need a low offset (0-15) front and rear it wont work its like trying to put a 4th gen wheel on it. It will hit on the inside you can get it to work with a 2 inch spacer

30mm is only 1.18". I see no reason those won't fit in the rear. Obviously not the front, but you already know that.

well the wheels look like deep dish wheels, i think thats called a negative offset, so i dont think they will rub on the inside im just worried bout how far they will stick out or rub the fenders

Will your friend let you swap one onto your car, just to look? That's the best way to see what fits. And it depends to on the tire size and how much sidewall bulge there is. The tires could fit, but the sidewalls rub when the suspension compresses.
See if you can test fit one on. Best way to fit bothy & drive, if they look like nothing rubs. If he wants to sell & is a good friend, that shouldn't be a problem.

trust me its not gonna work without a spacer if its a high offset wheel try putting a 4th gen wheel on the back which is also a high offset wheel it will hit before it even mates up to the hub

30mm offset on a 8" wheel = 5.68" bs. Nothing to worry about.

They shouldn't stick out, even if they have negative offset. With negative offset, they should be about a quarter inch inside the lip on the rear, and with positive offset, they should be about 2.5" inside the lip (if my math is correct).

FWIW, I'm running 17X8.5 with a 26mm on all four corners without any rubbing whatsoever. Not sure how similar that width and offset would be on 15" wheels., the only issue I might see is the tie rod ends in the front (if you were to use that measurement up front).

if they have -6mm offset and 4.25" of BS, they are 7" wheels. They are a little narrow for my taste, but they will fit just fine. they are almost the same as stock.

15x8 and i will use 235/60r/15 tires. the centerlines i have now have too much front spacing and stick out, especially in the rear.

thanks for the quick reply, what i don't understand are these facts i found on this site. front is 0 mm offset, rear is -16mm offset. i know how to measure backspace, but how do you figure offset.

Re: will 15x8 wheels with a 30mm offset fit in the rear of my 90 rs?
offset is the distance from the center of the wheel, to the wheels mounting surface. a "0" offset wheel has the mounting surface in the exact center of the wheel. A wheel with a positive offset, has the mounting surface further outboard of the mounting surface. Most modern cars use a positive offset. Negative offset puts the mounting surface more inboard, giving the wheel more lip, most older cars use more negative offset.
