I dont think they will they tuck under perfectly last time I set them up, and the car will be lifted in the rear anyways with some air shocks

Thats why you cut the wheel well and use a 15x10 with 6.5 backspacing. Thats a whole lot of tire for a 305. Do you plan on upgrading in the near future ?

Re: Need Help please...
yepp hopefully everything will be done over this winter, btw why did you say I'm gonna bust my rear?
The plan -
-84 350 vette motor with 383 build
-350 or 400 trans
-4th gen posi rear (mabye) or rebuild on mine
-front end rebuild
-finish up my iroc hood or getting a 3" sunaco
theres more but its too much too list, unless I can get enough to buy a roller everything will go on this car

Stock ten bolt 3rd gen or 4th gen break with stock motors and street tires. Putting that much tire under the car and actually hooking will grenade it the first time out.

Im not sure about that, im not dissing what you say I'd just like a second opinion thats all. and if it gets rebuilt it'll have a 4.10 gear and i really dont see that or the posi out of a 4th gen breaking...

What ever floats your boat. Just post back when you throw those slicks on and hook good and break the rear. My rear is buit with all the best stuff and I have 4.10's in it. And I will only run street tires cause I know what will happen if i hook.

Re: Need Help please...
They are street tires not slicks...and I've been to the tracks with my car and nobody was worried about me breaking it they just wanted me to have a driveshaft loop

Most tires with the N50-15 PN# are drag tires. Trust me your gonna break your rear with the 383.
