Re: What tire sizes?
If they are 17x9.5, then I'd get 275/40/17's. But if the rears are 17x11, then you want 315/35/17's for the rears and the 275's up front. The rear wells will have to be modded and the lips rolled. As for tires, I've had 275/40/17 Sumitomos on all for corners and, let me tell you, for under $90 a pop, they are some really good tires. My camaro is my daily driver and I drive 50 miles round trip on freeway and street five days of the weeks. I'v had them for a year and a half and they are still almost like new. They are great in the rain and did I mention they are under $90? The 315's are a bit more, but still worth it. One draw back is that they run narrow if you're looking for that wide look. Sumitomos all the way! My experienced .

Ahh ok. Were you looking for a stock replacement tire? I'd go with the Sumitomos anyway. They really are good tires

Re: What tire sizes?
I have the Sumi 315s he's talking about, on the rear of my GTA.....I paid $115 each, IIRC, from Tirerack. I'll probably be getting the 275s up front, in the next month or so, depending on how the current tires hold out. Or sooner, if the rain comes.

Since the Sumis run narrow, your 9" vs 9.5" would be an even better fit, even 9.5" isn't bad for a "normal" 275.

Re: What tire sizes?
I have the HTR Z category. They also have a really nice tread pattern, too.
