Too big, I just don't like the look of big rims and little brakes.

Re: Got Vette Wheels??...Post pics here...!
P315/35R17 on 17x11 with a 7.8" back space and 2" spacers. P275/40ZR17 on 17x9.5 with a 7.1" back space and 2.25 spacers but I think I have to push it out another .25" so I dont hit the drag link. No rubbing in the rear and slightly touching the inner fender in the front with stock suspension. The wheels were listed as 17x11 50mm and 17x9.5 53mm if you dont want to convert from metric. I hope this helps, Mark
just wanted to say thanks for calling me up and for your help i think it looks great and the spacers came 4 days before they were suppose to. look at the above thread to see the new wheels and thanks again for your help.

its the original color, i had to have it repainted a few years ago due to the OEM paint defect. its silver metallic, it was a rare paint combination. it looks amazing at night.

You're going to hate driving if you go wider than 10" wheel/285 tire in the front unless your roads are awesome and your suspension/steering is in great shape. Just the nature of the beast. With proper fitment you can fit huge wheels in front. There are a few running 18x10 w/ 305 or 315 tires. Definitely not the norm, or easy, but doable.

Except for mine, which came with a 26mm offset. 17X8.5, no spacers required, I bought them at Discount Tire and was told not long after that the vendor doesn't make that offset any more.

Re: Got Vette Wheels??...Post pics here...!
I picked up a set of 2002 C5 5 spokes, 17 front, 18 rear. Consensus is that at stock springs, 2 inch spacers all around is what will work the best. Where do you find these for the best price? Also, what's a good staggered tire size setup that won't rub without modifying the inner fenders and fender lips?

Could you by chance tell me what size tires you have on there. I just bought a set of those for my 88 camaro and I wasnt sure if the stock vette size tires would fit ok or not.

Re: Got Vette Wheels??...Post pics here...!
I've correctly got a set of 92 Anniversary wheels on my Berlinetta. They are real nice - but I just gotta' get some new rubber so I can get the ZR1's re-mounted !
Here's a pic from when I had my C5's installed.....
Here's it is with ZR1's installed:
Some wheels just don't look right with certain cars / colors. IMO; The silver ZR1's work with every color combination...... It may just be the perfect 17" wheel for just about every ThirdGen !
