Will 18x 10.5 with a fourth gen rearend have any issues? Im thinking of getting the zo6 wheels from oewheels but wanna do 17x9.5 in front and 18x10.5 in rear but dnt know if they will be issues

Re: Got Vette Wheels??...Post pics here...!
Hey Rob, those are the same as the ones I used to have. They should fit fine with the fourth gen rear. U might have issues with the fender. But rolling the fender a bit would take care of that

Yeah man but i think its the little bit newer style zo6 wheel from the c6 i think. But the think is that i put the lowering springs on it but i think i wont have issues lol i hope

Re: Got Vette Wheels??...Post pics here...!
the c6 z06 are 19x12.. no way those will fit without some kind of mini tub. i searched around before. but i dont think oewheels has them in that size. my c5 z06's were 17x9.5 and 18x10.5. if you stick to that size im sure they are going to fit. just make sure they are for the 4th gen offset.

Manuel, what size tires are you running?
Anyone have, or have pictures of the C6 deep dish on a thirdgen? Preferrably a maro with 18"+, but I will take what I can get.

I just did the lowering springs on mine and sumtimes rubbs the rear tires going threw hard bumps at a decent speed (over the speed limit that is) lol but it does that cuz i have a 4th gen rear end so hopefully when i get my vette wheels it should tuck the wheels in so they wont rubb

Re: Got Vette Wheels??...Post pics here...!
Hey C-Titan, do you think maybe we could get a side pic of this car? These pics don't really show off the wheels very well. I want to put these wheels on my car too. I'm looking at going with 18" wheels w/ the gunmetal centers to accommodate a big brake kit. The one's I was looking at appear to be quite a bit more deep dish than yours. http://www.oewheelsllc.com/Wheels_3/...els-Gunmetal_3
Exactly where mine came from... The pics on their site are a bit deceiving when it comes to the depth of the Lip... By No means would I personally consider them "deep dish", but they do have a nice lip... Here's a few pics, hopefully these give you a better idea...

^ I have those same rims in black and while i love em I kinda joke at the idea of them being "deep dish" they have a small lip. Then again I have the 17x9.5 size maybe if they were 18x11 or something biger then what I have they would be deep dish.

C-titan those r the exact same wheels i want for my thirdgen. What are the specs of the wheels and tires. I have a fourth gen rear end on mine with lowering springs all around and with the third gen wheels and also it scraps the rear right tire when i go threw hard bumps. I just wanna get the right set up so they wont stick out to much or have any rubbing issues

Sounds like you need an adjustable panhard bar out back to get that rearend centered back up under the car with the lowering springs before you do anything. Just my two cents.

Re: Got Vette Wheels??...Post pics here...!
^^^^Agreed
No doubt, car is getting the lip and a couple other chips touched up right now - should have it back soon... I'll be on it
Nothing a lil time\elbow grease won't fix! I love how my car handles, even with its solid axle... I'm able to take corners at more speed and deeper then my S2000, which is saying something... 2 friends and myself were caught in a snow storm up in the mountains; winding roads - up and down hills - and somehow it stuck and made it to our Emergency stop 20 miles away (still in the mountains) without incident... Utterly AMAZING! S***, w/ my old 18's I couldnt even get the thing out of the garage in a light dusting... Then again, now we're talking 12" of Hankook tire maintaining grip... Yumm
Wow Vista, what can I say but Thank You!! I Absolutely appreciate your compliment, makes all the long nights in the garage worth it...
Thanks Again!!
BTW Absolutely Dig what you've done with your 84', nice work - beautiful car man... The Color combo w/ your wheels is Perfect, smooth look... I used to have one myself, T-Topped - Gunmetal Grey w/ Matching Wheels - Worked 327, T-5 w/ a sketcy 5th gear, 3.73 Gears - Pure nom nom nom nom... Loved that car...
I have the staggered 19"x10" w/ 18"x8.5" combo... If you're really trying to get the big lip look w/ the wheels I have, go with the All Chrome. Because of how they are painted, it deceives the eye a-bit...
The size's I typed above... Offset - the front is 35mm's w/ 1.75" Spacer running a 255/40/18 tire, no rubbing at all... The rear has 60+mm's of Offset, so with your 4th gen rear it's about a 1/4 of an inch to short, so a generic wheel spacer can take care of that if needed running a 285/40/19... The thing is, every tire company is different - some tires (even though they say the same numbers) tend to very in width... Example my Hankook 285's are over 12" wide, which doesnt exactly add up, but i'm not complaining - just keep that in mind... Every experience and set up is different...
::Let's deep Breath Out and Wipes Forehead:: Did I get everyone?? haha

Been reading this thread for over year now.. and i have gotten a chance to buy some 06 corvette rims from a friend of a friend... original c6 rims polished with tires for $500.. rear tire are shot but the fronts are good..
What want to know is, where do i get spacers/adapters and what size do i need to run these on my stock 88 firebird formula

The least loved of the Corvette wheels, but for the price and performance gains (grip at speed, and launch!) I couldn't pass up trying a set on my car.
