Re: Got Vette Wheels??...Post pics here...!
I l'm running C5 Y2K's right now. 17x8.5, 18x9.5. Falken FK452's 245/45/17 and 275/40/18. I have 2" adapters all around.
I'm not to pleased with how they sit, I'm not a fan of the "battleship" look. So I'm thinking about running 3" adapters up front and 2.25" adapters in the rear to get them to sit flush.

Huh... Are you sure?
Mine aren't on the car right now and I just measured them (and double checked the recept), my spacers are definitly 2" and my wheels are front 17x9.5 with a +54mm offset and rear 18x10.5 with a +58mm offset. That should put your wheels farther in and it definitly looks like yours stick out and mine are significantly further in, like at least 1/2-3/4"
Something is not adding up. Do you have a 4th gen rear?

My mistake- I am running 18 x 10.5 +58mm offset with 2in spacer and 305 35zr18 and 17 x 9.5 +56mm offset with 2.5in spacer with 275 45zr17.
Sorry for the confusion

DBLTKE, i just bought same set but dif size: 17 x 8.5 all of them, they are aftermarket replicas...
do you think i could go 2" spacers all the way? or you think i could go another direction? what do you recommend?

Re: Got Vette Wheels??...Post pics here...!
So should I NOT run Sportlines with an LT1 up front?
1. 265/40/18 upfront. I was running 275/35/18 but my headers hang too low so I had to go a little taller. These are perfect.
2. I'm running the Sportlines, however my car weighs around 3400 because the LS1(about 150 lbs less than stock).
3. Color is Cyber Grey Metallic, I fell in love with it when the ZR1 came out. I'll get some better pictures with a SLR camera soon.

GTA running C6s. Standard 18/19s with 255s up front and 295s on rear. LS1 Brakes on front. 1 coil cut off of front and 1 1/2 coils off of rears. Moog springs. No isolators
Rear could do with another half coil and perhaps a slightly thicker tyre wall
Pics at my local sikh temple - enjoy!

havent really broke them in, just did the install using Kore3 settup. 1/4 pedal still feels night and day compared to the 10.2 inch stock 2 piston Z28 brakes.

18x9.5 275/35 18 18x11 305/35 MT drag radials. might need to go to a 1.75 adapter to tuck the rear in a bit more.

Re: Got Vette Wheels??...Post pics here...!
Need some help. I am very picky on how I want my setup to come out.
Ok so I have a question or two. I have read this entire thread from page 1.
I have decided I want to go with these wheels.
And once I lower the car I want this exact stance. With the rear being about a half inch or so lower(want the ground fx to be perfectly parallel to the ground).
I'm wanting to go with 18X9.5's all the way around.
Now my problem is I'm gonna stay with the third gen rear end and I know I need spacers/adapters. I want the edge of the wheels to stick out just barely past the side of the fenders, but not past the fender flares(so basically right in the middle of the extended part).
I have read some are going with 2" all the way around and some are using 2" in the front and 1.5" in the rear.
Does anyone know exactly what size I would need to achieve my goal or is this something I'm going to have to mock up and measure for the precise size?
Also when I lower it what type of setup should I go with. Car is just gonna be used as an everyday get around car/cruiser.
