Not for nothing but I just found a bunch of carbon fiber cowl hoods. Its not the one in the picture but it is carbon fiber and in the USA.

Lol, quite the contrary.
Just a little off topic, don't you think?

I dont like this style cuz its not good for auto X you get to close to the edge you you cut a hole right in your tire and a hard corner, but most people with muscle cars dont do auto X, or at least I dont know of anyone that does. Besides that I just plain doesnt look good IMHO.

Re: Flush wheels/ dumped cars
you actually want a slight stretch for auto-x because it makes the sidewall firmer.

Re: Flush wheels/ dumped cars
This is exactly why drifters do this as well. If the tires are already stretched out its only logical that there is a lot less chance of the bead popping off the rim. I'm also assuming that it helps with keeping the tires spinning because of the thinner contact patch. I definately wouldn't stretch them too far on a DD car though because it takes away the curb protector

Re: Flush wheels/ dumped cars
Man I love that car! No matter how many pics of it I see its still sweet. I've always felt that the smaller rims with the larger tires (like over 50% aspect ratio) give more of a raw muscle car look but the low pro tires tucked into the wells (definately not as much as the first post!) give a cleaner, more modern look. Which - if done right - looks good on most cars
