Re: z06 rims
I have the 17" x 9.5" of these rims on my camaro. I bargain hunted on ebay for my wheel space and spent about $160.
You need 2.25" wheel spacer up front to clear the steering componets.
You can use either 2.25" or 2" spacers in the rear.
--------------------------------------------------------------
I bought four 2" wheel spacers.
Then I bought a pair of .25" slip on spacers.
I did not want 2.25" spacer up front because if I did the c5 vette brake upgrade upfront the new rotor adds the .25" and I would only need a 2" spacer then. I use the 2" spacers with the .25" slip on spacer behind it for now until I do the c5 upgrade. One more note you will have to press in longer lug studs up front for the 2"+.25" combo or the 2"+c5 vette brake(.25") combo. I bought my longer lug studs at o'reilly auto parts.
The 2" wheel spacer is just fine on the rear. The ones I bought had to have the hole in the middle opened up a little with a engine hone so it would slide over the end of the axle.

Re: z06 rims
What about doing a
front tires 275/35ZR18
with
rear tires 325/30ZR19
knowing the rear are wide tires would that be possible?
plus I want to lower the car a bit. so it don't look to high off the ground.

Re: z06 rims
With that tire on the back you might have to "clearance" the inner fender wall and possibly roll the lip on the back fender. I think that would be a real nice combo though.

Re: z06 rims
The best place to get spacers for those wheels are off ebay. I got a set of 4 for under $150 shipped. I had to get 2" spacers for my 2002 SS wheels to bolt up. Just run a search on ebay for camaro spacers and they pop right up.

Just as TMZIrocZ350 vbmenu_register("postmenu_3854993", true); said you will have to clearance the innner wheel wells and roll the fender lip. You have to do that to any tire 315 or bigger.

Re: z06 rims
The handling is better than the stock wheels.
With the lower profile than stock tires you will feel the bumps a little more but you will get this with any low profile tire. (The taller sidewall tire dampens bumps in the road like a shock absorber but mess up handling when cornering.)
The spacers don't affect these aspect at all. All the spacers do is give you the correct back spacing. With my front end being .5" wider than rear I do not have any weird handling problems. With the wheel spacers I'm using my wheels are still tucked up under the fenders.
