Re: Iroc Replicas

The ones on ebay are sold by custom wheel market out of california. And they are a legit company. I just bought my 17" IROC's from them. If you don't want to do the ebay thing (I don't do ebay either). You can call them direct and order them over the phone or direct on their website. But I got a better deal when I called them directly. Here's there website. I also recieved their wheels undamaged and they are pretty good quality.

Re: Iroc Replicas

I did a show quality restore on my car and I am very happy with the quality of the wheels. If not I would have sent them right back. I am really picky. Actually the chrome is pretty bright and may take some getting use to.
I posted up some pics on the board a couple of weeks ago when I first got them on the car. Here's the link to them with the pics of them on the car.

IAlso, if you want an additional pic of a close up of the wheel just let me know and I will post one up for you.

Re: Iroc Replicas

i bought some from customwheelsmarket and they were junk. the chrome started pitting within weeks and the price to ship them to get use of the warrany equalled the price of new wheels. i wouldn't ever buy their chrome again. luckily i sold them and made out well. then i bought TTII's and couldn't be happier. trust me, there is a reason why i only paid 868 for 4 wheels and tires, mounted and balanced, and with lug nugts, valve stems, and center caps. they are junk.

I bought a set of 18's about 3 years ago from custom wheels market and they still look as good today as they did three years ago. I would buy from them again.

Re: Iroc Replicas

Ok sounds like these are what I want then. What size tires should I put on them? will a 255 fit? I plan on lowering the car an inch with the prokit.

Re: Iroc Replicas

255 40 17's will fit great on the 17 x8 Chrome IROC's!! I just put a set on mine today and have no clearance problems. And I think they look alot nicer then the 245/45/17's I had on there before. I like the look of a lower profile and wider tire.

I am also going to go with a prokit 1 inch drop in the next couple of months. Based on my measurements it looks like they will still fit really nice with the drop kit. Should look SWEET!!

Re: Iroc Replicas

Ok cool, I like the wider lower profile look as well. I just didnt know if a 255 would fit. My current tires are 235/60/15, Will it being a 40 match up to about the same diameter tire as it is now?

16s seem to small and 18s to big, thats why I was asking about the ebay company that has the 17's, thanks for the advice though.

Re: Iroc Replicas

man, forget that cheap $hit just get some quality ones. i got some chrome Irocs stright from american racing. in 18's wrapped in falken Z's mounted balanced and the whole deal for 1499. but its quality were talking here. i bought a set of American Racing wheels for my truck and loved them. so i have no problem going with them. might get a set of torque thrusters also just to switch off here and there.

but hey whatever works for you guys if you find a good deal and they dont look a day old out the box, then your set. and going with 17's also can be a pain. i was considering 17's or 18's nothing bigger. but the fact that they had only 16, 18 and higher...well that concluded it!
