GTA mesh wheels on my 82 ??
I was just curious about a few things about putting these wheels on my car. Currently it has 15 inch gold N-24's, so I would like to stay with a gold accented wheel since plain aluminum in my eyes clashes real bad with a black and gold car.
How close was the gold color on the GTA wheels to my N-24's? ... If it wasn't close how would I go about having the powdercoated and find matching gold powdercoat?
My car originally had 14 inch wheels and the 15's with 235-60-r15's seem to rub alot. However I never seemed to notice this problem on my 84 trans am. Was there something different about the 82's if they had 14 inch wheels that needed to be changed to keep 15's from rubbing? My car doesn't seem to sag at all (coil spring wise) by rubbing I mean turning.
tire wise since I do have this rubbing problem what would be a good size for this car? And will it handle alot better ?
NOW .... Opinions
Leave the N-24's on or gold GTA's .... I like the stock looks of my car so I''m not interested in any other rim but a GTA wheeLs. So do you all think gold GTA's would look great on my car?

Rubbing issues would be with your tire width and overall height being different
GTA rims look badass on any bird and are only availible in 16"
The 91-92 base model firebirds could get the 15" version of these wheels, but they are different and you can see it clearly
GTA wheels are normally 2-3 times more expensive than the base wheels and have specific front/rear wheels so you cant rotate your tires as freely
Both are availible in the GM gold and it should match your factory gold fine

This is what the N90's off a 91-92 look like. They are 15X7 and are not as nice as the 16" GTA's, but a cheap alternative. They do look ok I think, especially for the prices you have to pay nowadays for a good set.
