Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 Tires?

I was wondering if anyone has tried them and if you could give your info on how you thought the tires performed.

Indy 500s are great tires. I used to have the Firehawk GTAs on my sable, some said they suck, I liked them. Sable died and got a taurus, with kybs all around and indy 500s, it handled amazing, they really stick. The tires are cheap, and perform awesome, I put a set on my 84 Coupe Deville and they worked great on that too. As for my camaro, I have 215-65-15s in the front, and 235-60-15s in the rear. Car handles great, even speeding around curves I rarely hear tire chirp. They work really well in the rain also. I drive on the parkway when its raining and everbody is doing 45-50, and Im doing about 60 passing everybody driving perfectly fine. In my opinion they are a great tire, and look really nice with the whitewall.

I like my Firehawk Indy 500s a lot. I put them on my 91 RS and have had them for almost a year. I don't really drag or race at all so I can't say how they perform in that area, but around town and on the highway they're great. I've had no problems with them and I will probably buy them again once these get too worn (which won't be for a good while). I like them a lot.

i put some michelin 235/70r15 and i love them. they were free off of another car. the rear sits higher and the ride is a lot smoother. i can say i am happy with them. i will add the firehawk's after winter.

A buddy with a 383 (Miniram & AFR 195 heads) switched to those tires and he says they are one of the best street tires he's tried. And his engine is a TQ monster too - traction was a big problem.
