A lot a beautiful wheels here but for me its the AR-23's by American Racing.
15X7 front on 235/60r15's and 15x8 rear on 255/60r15's.
Polished and clear coated aluminum alloy.
All you do is wash them with soap and water and they look as good today as the day I bought them, 9 years ago.

Thinking about buying these and having them powder coated white
If you go with wheels that are really open like that. personally I would get some big brakes to go with them... That is what the spindly looking wheels are for IMHO to show off some beautiful brakes.
Im thinking in getting this wheels for my fire bird but are consurned on the fittment , bolt pattern is ok its the et size thats bugging me .... what do you guys think

Re: BEST looking 3rd gen firebird & camaro rims
you need more info on your back spacing. The third gen runs 0 offset. Contact the distributed and ask the back spacing and fitment to a zero back spacing hub
I'm a couple of pics up on this thread.
I run 18/19 staggered. I have 1.5 inch spacers on front and back, and run 255/40/18, and the rear is 295/35/19.

Looks are up to you, but I also think this is a jdm wheel that also has front spacing to purposefully push the lip beyond the lip of the fender. If you like the look, I would say 18 and 19 would fit, 20s maybe with a 245 on the rear, so it will be a thin tire.
I would say all you need to know is the backspace of the wheel and spacers would help you run any width you like but it will be beyond the well
I like these. Ridler 675. I painted the spokes myself as i wanted a darker color than the available silver or polished, but lighter than black. I was torn between these and the 695 style. I think the 675 suits the lines of the third gen well? Wheels are 17x8 with 245/45/17 tires.

Enkei TX5: 18x9.5, 5x120mm, +35mm offset, roll-formed, lightweight, Platinum Gray(frosty silver). With its deep profile and split-spokes, it's sort of a modern version of the classic 5-spoke design. The irony here is that OE Firebird/TA wheels tended to be of unconventional designs and rarely of the classic nature. And for clarification, Enkei is pronounced En-kay; they discuss the name's origins and pronunciation in one of their videos.
California Chrome Wheel in Valencia, CA, refinished them in Black Chrome. But trying to capture Black Chrome in pics is difficult. It reflects a variety of appearances, due to different lighting, as you can see in the pics below.
Goodyear Eagle GT 255/40ZR18. Designed for 8.5" to 10" wide rims, this beefy tire on my 9.5" rims displays an aggressive, modern fitment:
Semi-custom center cap emblems(custom emblems of my own design are in the works):
Adapter thickness will be in the 25mm-30mm range.

Well here is my biased opinion on what looks best on a mostly stock 3rd Gen. These were most likely posted before (but it's hard to go through 49 pages of posts) so check these out. They were a NO COST OPTION on Formulas in 1991-92 and were only offered in Black and were stock on the Trans Am. I have had my set on for 25 years and NO signs of the check cracking that appeared on the stock 5 blade Formula wheels. They were also quoted as being the lightest wheel that Pontiac had @ 16.5 pounds each.
I added the chrome center caps and the lug nut covers. If you double click the photos, you can zoom in on the pictures. Thanks for looking!

Still looking for wheels, I was about to order the 17" snowflakes from year one, but I'm looking at $600+ (american) for shipping on $1200 wheels that I still have to convert to Canadian... I can't swing that knowing I'm paying double what you guys are.
Plenty of pics already shared, but in my opinion stock wheels often times are the best. Chevy sure had a lot of head scratchers with our cars in terms of performance and implementation, but man the styling was on point.
For IROCs, I love the stock wheels. I prefer single vein 85-87 wheels, but the double vein 88-90 aren't bad, either.
91-92 Camaros, the 16 inchers are awesome, and even better color filled (I wish mine were).
Believe it or not, I love the look of the 15x7 Camaro wheels. I only wish they were offered in a wider wheel like 8" or 9", but it's hard to beat that look from the side.
Non-stock wheels, I love the silver painted ZR1s on red Camaros. That's what I'm about to put on mine. Something about the size and spokes just match. 2nd place are C5 Z06 wheels. Not too flashy, and still compliment the body lines.
For Firebirds, something about the 70's snowflake wheels painted gold look killer on a black 'bird. And Ronal R15's look great on 91-02 birds too
Here is my car. Spohn QA1 coil overs in the front and BMR lowering springs in the rear with Viking shocks. Fender height is 26" in the front and 26 3/16" in the rear. I'm hoping the rear springs settle a little more, but overall not bad. Rims are ROH Snypers with 245/45R17 tires. Really wanting to upgrade to a XXR 526 or C7 Z06 rim soon.
Changed from matte black to matte gunmetal...and new stoppers. Wheels are now further outboard also. Flush with fender lip. May need to cut dome of the gfx and fenders for steering clearance but in this car Im okay with that
