Engine Swap or Rebuild?
Hey guys,
I recently picked up a '86 2.8 MPFI Camaro for a good price, the body is in good shape and there aren't any striking issues. The only problem is that the engine has 330 000km on it, it runs and drives at the moment but I'm concerned about how long it's going to last. I'm considering a swap or a rebuild but I'm not sure how worth it a rebuild would be on an engine with such high mileage and just wanted to hear the opinions of people who have much more Camaro knowledge than I do.

Run it until it wears out, then decide. If it ain't broke dont fix it.

I'd be more concerned about the trans.
Just drive it till it dies. Then decide. If you find a good 2.8 / 3.1 / 3.4 in the meantime pick it up!
