FS: 3.4L V6 fuel injectors
Hey guys, I've got a set of 3.4L V6 injectors to peddle.
they're 3.4L V6 fuel injectors, part number 17103509. According to Rich at Cruizen Performance, These injectors were used in 1991 thru 1993 on RPO LQ1 3.4L V6 engines with VIN code "X". Apparently they have a flowrate of about 17lb/hr. I bought them from a friend who used them for short time in a Z34 Lumina 3.4. New O-rings, all test 100% functional (proper resistence). Proved to be too much fuel for my stock Firebird 3.1. I've been told they'd be ideal for a nitrous setup on a 2.8 or 3.1L. These would probably clean up fine, they've jsut been in a ziploc bag in the back of the car for a few months. $80 +shipping.
They're gray even though they appear blue in the pic.
If anyones interested email me, I accept personal check and money orders. Items paid by check ship when the check clears, Money order items go out the same day.

Come on now, someones gotta have a cam or ported heads that can take advantage of a bit more fuel. The only problem I had was with the car maintaining and idle. Chances are now they'd work but I have a stripped fitting on the fuel lines to the fuel rail and it works the way it is, no desire to rip it apart again to try these.

If they were the same as stock 3.1L injectors they'd be the same part number. GM isn't going to use several different sets of identical injectors with different part numbers. Stock 3.1 injectors are said to be the same as stock 2.8 injectors which are 14 or 15lb injectors. Don't make guesses if you don't know, look it up or ask someone that does. I've done the research and have tested these injectors both with an ohm meter and in the engine and have determined that they're definitely more fuel than the stock 3.1L injectors deliver. Before setting the timing and fixing my exhaust leak my firebird would not idle with these injectors, it would run extremely rich till it died. Swapping back to the bad stock 3.1L injectors cured the idle problem and the car ran much better. If you want to add 19lb injectors to an almost stock 3.1 thats fine but unless everything is 100% optimum its going to be too much fuel. These injectors are a perfect step between stock and heavily modified, and I'm selling them less than a set of used stock injectors would cost. Like I've said the only reason I'm selling them is that I dont want to take the fuel lines out of the fuel rail again because the fitting is boogered up from some halfwit that worked on the car before I owned it.

I did some more research and ran some numbers thru the calculator today, and from the formula's I ran the stock injectors are only good to 137hp, these injectors thru the same formula should be good to 165hp. So for a mildly modded V6 these would probably work very well. 19lb injectors would be another 20hp.

Some more mystery for the puzzle... The Z34's are rated from GM at 210hp and 215lbs tq... So given this information the formula I used above doesn't match up. Not sure if GM was overrating the 3.4 in the Lumina or just running higher fuel pressure, or what... You make the call.
I've got a deal on some parts I need to close, so today only (dec 31st) I'm more than willing to bargain on my prices.
