Hypertech Thermo Master Cal-Pac Power Chip - Stage 2
I have a stock V6 1991 camaro and I am thinking to change my stock PROM to Hypertech Thermo Master Cal-Pac Power Chip - Stage 2.
Do I need to do anything before or after I have changed from stock PROM ?
How many hp do you get ? Is it worth doing it or ?
Thanks for help. Need to fix up my rid a bit

No it is not worth doing at all. Those things cost to much and realistically you could get the basic equiptment to burn your own chips yourself for close to what those things cost.
On the otherhand, theres nothing you have to do else then I would add a lower t-stat (180*) if you get one of those hyper chips. You would mabey gain 5-10Hp on a good good day, and thats being generous. IMO

What do they cost anymore anyway??? Like $150 bucks or so?? I got one way back in the day for a different car and it really didn't do much at all in the 1/4 mile when racing it.
The best things money wise to add HP is A cam, Exhaust(be it headers, and so on), rear end gears, and stuff like that.
WEIGHT REDUCTION is a good mod.
Then it all depends what you can personally do as in a cam, porting the heads/intakes, exc. There are many ways to make your car fast it just matters what you want and all comes down to $$ and what you can do.
