anyone done it? I've seen pics of deathstar89's setup, it looks awesome, but I need one for other reasons... got any pics/recommendations?most of the motorcycle TB's I've seen don't have an actual mounting flange, which would make mounting them a little harder. my setup would be on a turbo 3500 V6

 

most are connected with rubber couplers.

u coudl make mounting flanges that bolt down and then use the couplers, or u could carfully weld the tb's down to a mounting plate.

on a boosted app i would weld them down ,beaing as if one of the tb's pop off that cyl would be like the throttle was wide open so u could iagine the damage that would cause.

on an n/a build there would be much less chance of poping one of the manifold to itb couplers off

 

obx makes semi affordable itb setups for the honda guys and they have mounting flanges

maybe u can contact them and see if they will sell u just 6 of the tb,s

 

I'm looking for 42mm tb's I think that would probably be a nice sweet spot for the 3500. the "boost hat" is the part i'm dreading, the rest would be cake. I'm kind thinking it may be time for a custom intake to make it's way onto the scene.
