2.8 Audi supercharger

I sorry if this sounds stupid but i just 2want to know if it is possible or not... most likey not. I was wondering if the Audi 2.8 is the same or close to the same as our engine meaning would a supercharger off a 2.8 audi work the same in our cars? agian I apologize for the stupid question but it had to be asked. thanks guys for the response.

It seems you are pretty sure of the answer.
I'd say, open each hood and look.
But, probably, no chance.

Most factory superchargers are of the "roots" type. the problem with the 2.8 Chevy is not that we can't find a matching one for displacement, but one that will fit our 60* engines and bays.
