OMG my car just caught on fire!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well now that I got your attention I will tell you that it was just a false alarm. Why I really called you in here is I was wondering if you guys wanted to get together a V6 meet around the middle part of the eastern side sometime next year when it warms up like around may? I think it would be a good idea. Anyone idea?

BTW to keep it tech: seriously would it be a better idea to port and polish the heads, port and polish the intake, or get a comp cam? How much would it cost to port and polish the intake? Thanks

hey if you swing over to st.lou I;m in.

Do the heads and cam thats where the big gains are. The other stuff might give you 3-5 hp. I;m guessing the head/cam would give you 20-25 hp.

Car: 1986 Firebird
Engine: 2.8 V6
Transmission: 700R4
Remember that Fiero guy? I think he said he found the biggest restrictions in the intake manifold, and not the plenum/middle intake. The heads would be the better idea; but it might not be too easy to do if the car's a daily driver.

I have access to a spare intake set up & will experiment with that.

Why not invade the T/A natl's they have up here, or get intouch with those who operate it (hmmmm it's held in dayton, I'm in dayton, hmmmmm)

Camaros are nto welcome in Dayton for the TA nats.
Monkie invest in the LT1 for speed and keep the V6 for Daily use.

If we can get a meeting within 4 hours of Ohio I am in.

Hmmm... a weekend together eh, sounds like this is going to need alot of planning, as well some of Us *coug Cough myself* would probably not be able to venture on such a trip... lol. But the Idea is good, and if planned out, starting now I can see quite a Turn-out...

Oh yes, polish the Intake its cheap
