Mine only holds 13 gallons. I just filled my tank yesterday when the guage was on empty.
Another time my car was spuddering because I was nearly out of gas, I filled it up-13 gallons.
And yet another time, I was near empty and it held less than 13.
So 3 times at 3 different gas stations verifies my car holds 13 gallons.
Grammy back me up!

Uh-Oh My car must be broken; it only holds litres of gas, not gallons :O It holds about 50 liters which if i fingered it out right is a little over 13 gal. It costs me on average $30 to fill from empty (61.9/L)

When I fill up from "E" I usually get about 13gal but the tank is nowhere near empty. Every book I have seen says ~15.9 gal for our tanks and I believe it.
I have never actually ran it dry tho. There is something about changing the fuel pump after it burns out does not appeal to me

I envy gas prices in the $1.2x range.... just think, gas was down to $.90 just 2 years ago! I've put up to $23 into my tank and that wasn't even 15 Gallons!

wow here in ohio we are close too a buck a gallon again.
i love my bird, i can drive all week on 5 bucks.
last summer it took 15 bucks of ulrta 94 too fil my tank.
normal gas i get 130-140 miles on a tank, untra 94 i get 150-160+
and with the ultra 94 its sweet when im really hammering it, pedel held too the floor hi rpm shifts. every time i shift it blows flames out the back.

$20 is the most I've ever put in and it was about 14 gallons. I ran mine dry the other week. I had to put some gas in at the house b4 I went to fill up so I don't know how much could go in but I'm figuring 15.5.

Well once again I can only get a little over 13.5 with a tank thats more then dry... Even my 91 305 TBI takes 13.5... Know this because I had to fill it to drive it home. A week later I replaced the fuel pump.. NOT FUN. Damn previous owner!

I had heard about a tank that was "specially baffled" (beyond the lame thing GM calls a baffle in our tanks!), but it was supposed to hold less than the 16 gallons, not more...

2 things to note...
1) Pumps can be wrong. If it said you put in 15.77 gallons, IMO you either got robbed, or managed to fill up the entire fuel neck too. That would put you over, but would mean you were REALLY on E!!!
2) Just because you can only fit 13 gallons in when your car says E doesn't mean you're on E. C'mon, does ANYONE here really believe a third gen gas gague??? Anyone who has owned one long enough should know better!!

Anybody that thinks they have a 13 gallon tank is a fool... look at the manual and then look at the specs of every other sports car out there... 16 gallons give or take a little is THE standard for sports cars (19+ for ferraris and the such). My manual says 16.5 and I would believe it...

That's friggen crazy. We have to pay mad cash here in the Aloha State.
It's 1.89 for 87octane, 2.09 for 92octane
And that's the cheapest
Last fill up was $28.00, and I wasn't on E yet
