there was a piece done on this in either car craft or super chevy, or some chevy mag. The guym who did this also had the routing for the serp belt with the smog pump removed.

wouldn't it just be easier 2 buy a piece of aluminum and just angle it so the air hits it and has no choice but 2 head up towards the air intake??? with my grill on my RS i looked at it 2 night and i could probally just put a piece of sheet metal in on about a 45 degree angle and it would force the air up (increasing downforce also)<-(not by much)
and creating a flow of cold air up to it... wouldnt that work just as good? or is it better 2 seal it off and run a hose that is sealed right 2 it? i figure the deflecting air might be a wiser descision? need help plz!

there is this thing ... its like a k&n filter charger but its got this super fast fan inside of it that produces boost pressure without any moding.... not shure if it is realy worth it... but it sounds like it would work great or horrible...

Bah. Those things are a joke. They'll put out a whole bloody whopping .5 pounds of boost. That should be good for...no horsepower increase. Well, maybe 2 or 3. Crap things, they are.

You are thinking of the tornados. They are rice. Honestly not saying that in any ignorance its the truth. Its intended for ricers who would believe anything. Answer...no its not worth it. The blade that is in the intake tube tends to get lose and move its way to the throttle body. If you buy it all I have to say is you better hope the blade doesnt work its way into your engine.

Well, there's also a few electric "superchargers" with electric fans in 'em. The Tornado & Spiralmax don't spin. But none of them are worth the price- $5, maybe.

if you can do a little bondo work and got a weekend and 100 buck too burn, the ram air i made works well and is one of a kind. till someone else does it.

all you need is a set of 68-69 bird scoops, some bondo, a drill and a jig saw, and some hi temp dryer duct. all preaty straigh forward and easy, just used clear silicone too glue the duct to the hood.
