3.4 build questions.
Hello.
So in the next week or so I will be getting a 3.4 out of a local Camaro. My Dad, girlfriend and I are going to rebuild this engine and hopefully hit my goal of 200Hp. So what mods would you guys suggest to attain this, cam, lifters, etc? Also is it a direct swap, or do we have to do other modifications to make the engine work?
Any help will be apreciated.

Re: 3.4 build questions.
port the heads, gasket match the intake and install a cam
these are pilsburys 3.4 dyno numbers
3.4 = 174hp and 210 tq N/A
those numbers are at the wheels and he has a very mild cam.the tune at that point was also very conservative

Re: 3.4 build questions.
i like the 260 grind cam personally, the 252 grind pilsbury has is also nice the 260 will make power a lil higher then the 252,but the 252 has more bottom end tq.
really depends were u want the power,but being as u have a 3.4 u will have added tq down low over stock anyways id go with the 260 grind from delta cams
