MPFI...2.8 to 3.4?
Has anybody used the MPFI unit from a 2.8, on a 3.4? Just kickin' around options and ideas for my 2.8.

I did it.
Ya can use a 3.4 intake on a 3.4, also.
But, as I slipped the 3.4 under my hood, I did what I did, for smog purposes.
Worked perfect.

Hey KED85, GREAT write up!!! Sure gives me somthing to think about! My current stock set-up isnt really that bad for a carbed 2.8, in fact, it's got great power for a 2.8(that just dont sound right does it
) I'm mainly looking for more towing power, this engine is in my '86 Jeep Wagoneer with 170,000 miles on it. I was thinking that a MPFI 4x4 would be a nice concept
. The people on the Jeep message boards are clueless on 2.8 performance, I've found ALOT of usefull info here. Thanks for posting your write-up ![](https://www.thirdgen.org/messgboard/smile.gif)

Want to get sic & radical?
Swap in the 3.4 block, used, and go get the K & F supercharger!
