What exactly is a wonderbar and what does it do and would it help my suspension out allot or a little or would i not notice it at all i jsut saw one today for my first time

I agree with CC, I think it was only on IROCs.

It is a bar that is mounted with the front sway bar it helps to tie the front frame together.

 

Vortecfcar i jsut learnt about them yesturday i saw it and was liek what the hell is that...Also while i was in search of what it does still dotn understand lol it i found a cool techsite i think its

I plan to weld my own up as soon as college is out and it gets warm again! Plus I forsee a problem... seems the lower radiator hose has a downward curve in it between the radiator support & anti-sway bar. This looks like the spot for the Wonderbar. Seems to be a V6-thing; keep us posted on the job, FastRS!

tom P i was readig a old post of yours my lower radiator hose comes from the passangerside i think i know the upper hose is on the driverside. Also what is that U shape thing you were talking about my lowerhose seems to be in a Z shape i neve rpay attention to my hoses tho.

 

You have a '91, right?

On my '86, a friend's '87, and the just-swapped '89, all had the upper hose on the passenger side, and the lower hose on the driver's side. This must be one of those random yearly changes by GM!

ya i have a 91. its 30 bucks for the part new so if it dont fit ill sell it but im pretty sure it will fit. Also while we are on this topic would a Strut towerbarace for a TBI 305 fit our car?? My friends engine seems as high as mine and looks like that might clear or engine what do you tink?
