Reuse spark plugs?

Reuse spark plugs?

Just wondering, i found the last set of bosch platinums in the garage. i was bored and i cleaned them w/ a wire brush. can i still use them again?

Yes you can... Take a nail file though and make sure the contact points are real clean... Unless they were really bad why change them, but on the other hand with 1.00 plugs why not?

When I did my 2.8->3.4 swap boogie, I used the plugs in the engine that came with it.
I media blasted them clean.
Works great!!
I'd like to get a colder range plug, tho.
I got Autolites with this engine.
I've had Bosch plugs. Worth it?
Borderline, yes.
But, not at $4 a plug
Now days, I use any plug at $.99 each.
I have the best ignition system I can use.
The plug, in my applications is secondary.

The main deal is whether the electrodes have sharp edges on them. If the center (or outer) electrode is rounded off, you should probably save them as spares. If the electrodes look brand new, then there's no problem.
