BLOWN EGR VALVE

EGR Valve bolts sheared off on 92 3.1. I found all the parts and replaced the undersized 4mm bolts with stainless ones. I haven’t been able to make a gasket that will last more than a few hundred miles. I took what was left of the old one which is metal and was at one time coated asbestos this part is required because it has a heat deflector that keeps the heat off to solenoid plungers. I tried coating the old gasket with 750 degree permatex but it starts leaking after a few weeks. I’m aware of high temp gasket material but without the deflector I’m afraid the plunges will transfer the heat to the solenoids and cook them. A new EGR vale cost $273 GM says its not serviceable.
