How does that give inspiration to V6's? If a Z28 loses to it... I missing something here.

Doesn't surprise me that you missed something Kyle. I'm just saying, if a Van can run a 12 second 1/4, then we could to eventually.....not saying that no one didn't already know that or that it wouldn't take a lot of money, BUT......forget what I said anyways, the video's still cool.

Here was my reply to this on another board. I don't think you guys know about these vans because I didn't know about them until my uncle was telling me about them this summer. All I know about them is below and whatever engine they put into the Talon and the ShelbyZ's (the DOHC Turbo 4) is what you could get these with. Either this or this guy(or gal) stuffed a serious V8 in there somehow.

Oh I got the answer to this one. My Uncle is a big mopar fan from the old days and he knows about these Mini vans. See you could order them with a 2.5L(I think thats the size) turbo and a 5-speed. It was all a matter of checking a box on an order form. We all have seen talons withthis motor and Dayton Shelby Z's pulling 12's so this is not a big shock for the motor, Just that someone took the time and invested money into a damn MINIVAN!?!?!?!?!!?!? I wouldn't get out on the track with that thing

2.2L and 2.5L turbo charged engines. I found a site about a guy who had a Daytona with the 2.5L in it, was running 11's with it. Not bad for a front wheel drive ride if ya ask me.

Kyle you are missing the whole point of modding out a minivan. Its insane! Thats why you see it posted here and on other boards. I personally like seeing weird stuff people do.

Car: '99 Trans Am, '86 Camaro
Engine: LS1, Scrap
Transmission: T56, T5
Axle/Gears: 3.42 Stock ZT, 3.42 Open
Yanno.. I've got a friend with one of those vans.. he was always going on about modifying it and stuff.. and then he blew up his engine and transmission.. and bought the mercury topaz or something (escort counterpart).. I suppose I shouldn't mention to him his van could have been turbo'd with junkyard replacement parts =P

i saw a turbo CryCo van in shops last year, i thought it was the dumbest thing in the world, a turbo van. all it need was a head gasket the owners said. but it tunred out the heads was FU(KED and they just put the van in a junkyard.
