Did you guys know about CompCams' rocker arm kits?
They sell kits that include the 1.52 or 1.60 Magnum rocker arms, and new "High Energy" pushrods. Summit wants $148 for the kits.
Kit # RP1413-12 = 1.52 rockers & pushrods for 2.8l 60 degree v6
Kit # RP1414-12 = 1.60 rockers & pushrods for 2.8l 60degree v6

hey Tom do you know if the kits recomend new pushrods because of the increased lift? I could see where putting a set of 1.6 rockers with stock pushrods would be fine, but when you already have a cam it seems like the 1.6 rockers could cause the pushrods to be to short. I read something about rocker arm geometry once and have been worried ever since

Er, the kit just saves you a few dollars over buying the items separately, that why I posted it. I'm sure they're stock length, nothing special.

I have the Comp Cams Magnum roller tipped rockers in my 94. they smoothed out the engine a little, but i dont think i adjusted them right, every now and then they tap a little. (it comes from the valve covers)
anyway. PAW sells the rockers for 122.99 or something like that. i bought mine when they were just 119.00..didnt get the pushrods with them (PAW doesnt sell with pushrods) although im sure i should have. o well. ill replace em later i guess (maybe sooner?)

I noticed in the Summit Catalog they said the High Energy pushrods (for those kits I mentioned) have hardened tips. Don't know what our stock pushrods are... they could have hardened tips also.
