F1ZE injector swap problem

Well i finally got my injectors put in today but noticed two of em i could still see the o-ring at the bottom and the others weren't visible like it sits flush with where they go in.Will it be ok like this? I accidentally broke one of the retainer clips too so i need to get a new one.

Re: F1ZE injector swap problem

If you got the old Bosch style like out of a Bronco II or a Ranger, then no, the O-rings must seat down into the manifold completely. You must lube the O-rings before installation or they will not seat right.

Re: F1ZE injector swap problem

I found the problem they all seat the o-ring is no longer visible I didn't tighten a screw from the middle manifold and it wasn't letting the fuel rail seat properly will probably have it running tomorrow had to order a new thermostat housing because I cracked it when I was replacing the thermostat.
