Car: 84 Firebird: F41, Pwr, Instr Pkg
Engine: LC1 (V6 2.8L, 200k mi)
Transmission: MD8 (700R4)
Axle/Gears: GU5 (3.23)
What is Correct TPS Voltage for '84 2.8L V6?
My FSM lists not one but THREE(3) voltages:
0.31
0.26
0.255
It is a 84 2.8L Code 1 (non High Output) V6 with TH700R4 auto.
0.26 is referenced in the section covering TPS adjustment with respect to E2SE carb teardown (2bbl Varajet).
At the end of the same chapter in the section covering diagnoses and tuning of the V6 0.31 is referenced for "2.8L V6" (vs 5.0L V8).
The FSM suggests the .255 may be for other GM platforms. It's close enough to .26 anyway - so I'm not concerned about that spec.
