Name that part
So yet again in an attempt to get this engine running correctly I've stumbled across another fitting with nothing connected to it. I can't for the life of me figure out what it is.
There is a red arrow pointing to it. In retrospect I should've made the arrow bigger. If you click the thumb you should be able to see it.
Sorry for my extremely poor engine knowledge. Still trying to learn.

It appears to be this part on the smog pump. I'm not really sure what it is...but maybe someone can chime in...

That picture threw me for a loop, had to go look at it on my car. Thanks for the help.

So im getting a little smarter every day thanks to everyone on this forum.
I'm taking a guess and saying maybe thats the hose that runs to the cat? It would make sense since the previous owner attempted to put a new exhaust on without a cat.
In any case I think im just going to remove the smog pump all together and make some room to breathe.. and for some new headers.
