timing on a 2.8 need some info

on the timing on a 2.8 i know it is 10 deg before tdc on compression stroke...and i know fire order is 123456....my question is will the car still idle if it is 180 deg off..other words on opp stroke because you will have 2 tdc won't you.compression and exuast

You won't get the engine started if it's 180 off... the engine will be too busy backfiring to run properly.

Did you disconnect the EST by the firewall on the pass side before you set timing?
