no power past 3000 RPM,i'm lost!!
my 3.1 MPFI V6 camaro idles ok but has lost alot of power, mostly after 3000 RPM and runs real rich. i changed my distributor/cap rotor and button along with wires and plugs about a year ago. i also have a new MAP and TPS. car has no codes but i read the data on it and intake temp sens. was reading about 344*F so i changed it. also swaped ECU and prom thinking it was a computer prob. but it ran the same. checked fuel pressure and it reads a constant 45psi. Also reset base timing to 10 degrees BTDC. . The car acts almost like a rev limiter and bounces between 3000-3500 RPM.i'm gonna check injectors and compression to rule it out. i'm thinking that it could have jumped a tooth or blown a gasket. or my ignition control module might be acting up. Any ideas what else it could be? i don't like racing buses out of the light so anything would help.

nope, i have no cats and checked for vacuum leaks with some carb cleaner and everything seems to be sealed. and when i read the 02 sensor with the scanner it would give low outputs at idle (about 300ish) and 900 something when i rev.
Has anyone had their car jump a tooth and have similar symptoms?
