Did I damage the fuel injectors?
So I pulled out my IAC Valve and cleaned it out with Throttle body cleaner. I then started cleaning the IAC passageway with the cleaner and put it back together. Maybe I used too much cleaner, maybe I should have waited longer before starting the engine... The car wouldn't start the first two times I tried and when it did start it was pretty loud for a few seconds and then it died. I started it up again and this time everything seemed fine.
I went to close the hood with the engine still running and I noticed a semi-subtle ticking. Tack-a-tack-a-tack. Upon investigating I found the sound coming from the intake manifold area. I reached behind the manifold and felt the fuel rail and I could feel the ticking that corresponded to the sound.
I took the car out for a drive and everything seems fine.
I've had the car for many years and I have never noticed this sound so I am somewhat certain the sound wasn't there before.
Any ideas what's going on? Thanks.

Its common to hear your injectors clicking, mine do and the car runs fine. Everything is plugged back in? If so then it sounds like nothing is wrong with your car if it is running fine.

Good to know. I was about to start tearing the intake apart. I'm surprised I never noticed the noise before.
Thanks for the replies.

If it still bugs you, see if you can't get a video of it....if you don't think that the noise is audible enough to be heard on the video...then there's more than likely nothing wrong with it.
