Just Punch Out The Cat?
ok, while installing the new headers on the 3.1, we had to beat the cat off the old y-pipe. Its only a few months old but now its just rattling like crazy. I dont have the money right now to buy another hi flow cat. Would it hurt anything to punch it out?

sometimes they backfire in the cat houseing and trip your idiot light with the o2 sensor but all you have to do there is shut the car off
