u can always do what me or 3 other members have done and build urself a turbo kit.the cheapest bang for the buck by far would be a nitrous setup, though for another 200-300 u could build the same turbo setup i did,if u have access to tall the tools.
other then that
first things first full tune up make sure its running great, simple start would be k&n's and a cat back ex,theres always headers, camshaft and computer tunning, though steping up the gear ratio in the rear makes a big diff

So you put a turbo on your stock v6? Without changing any internals. I was looking into it for my car then someone told me the engine would hold up to it and I would start having some internal problems. If you could let me know what you changed if you changed anything internally, thanks.

i did change my internals only cause i run very high boost levels, but u can safely run 7-9 psi on a stock engine as long as its in good shape.i belive on of the other members here runs upto 12 psi on his stock internal motor.
the only thing i changed in my motor internally was i replaced the stock pistions with custom forged pistions.other then that its still a stock crank/w redone stock rods with arp bolts

Alright, yeah I would say my 3.1 is in pretty good shape. Theres 65,000 miles on it and the owner for the first 57,000 was an older person and never abused it. If you could send me some pics of how you set up your tubo I would apperciate it. Thanks

Yeah, I think that Doward is running stock pistons in his motor...techsmurf is too, right? I have a nice set of custom forged pistons waiting to go in my 3.4 for my turbo setup, though.

i went with forged pistions in mine just due to the fact im running in exess of 16psi and plan to spray nitrous
