torque converter for the 60 degree
Does anybody know if there is a high stall torque converter available for my 60 degree 700r4?

yes it fits the 2.8-3.1 but when u call to order have them dbl check it just to be sure that its not a misprint or anything

dave that torque converter dont fit its for v8's and 4.3's i just checked.

Transmission: 700r4....not stock either
Axle/Gears: 3.73
Go on eBay and search for "700r4 converter". You need a B4C converter (I believe thats right...its the code for the smaller converter. You probably won't actually see that code listed though but you have that info if you want to supply it to the company). 27 spline, as mentioned. The company that I got mine from is Road Runner Converters, out of AZ. I am happy with mine and they will do whatever stall you want (within reason. they did for me, anyway). Very low price but, like I said, I'm happy with mine.

Transmission: 700r4 w/ transgo, vette servo/700r4
just go to a tranny shop and see what they have... my tranny has a 2600 dacco in it. IIRC, it was around $100 when i got my trans rebuilt. 60degs hve a lot of stall stock..

Redraif had hers done by Neal Racing Convertors in Snellville, GA...Ask for Keith, 678-614-4805. They do great work (build transmissions also), and are very reasonable.
