Car: a car being parted out
Engine: blown up
Transmission: in peices
8's fit no problems.
sometimes 9's can depending on offset. (need to be pushed out a little more)
225/50's easy
235/45's are ok
245/40 might want to roll the fender lips...

Sort of on topic

I was thinking about buying some winter tires only. But wanted to go tall and skinny. I wonder whats the tallest tire that would fit?

Maybe get a set of used 30' swampers for winter.

keep in mind that if your car is lowered at all, even only an inch like mine, that it will decrease the width of tire you can put on.

I have 215/75R15 on all 4 corners.

The left rear tire will rub against the filler tube cover inside the wheel well. So I removed it and sprayed Rust Check all over inside. We'll see if it rubs this winter....

The front tires have no rubbing problems since I have the heavy duty springs up front.

All my coil springs are new, so the car sits at stock height (and more in front). I would recommend one size smaller tires: 205/75R15.
