92 Camaro RS 3.1 V6 Died and wont start

ok, my girlfriends 92 camaro, has a 3.1 in it, she was driving it to work, it kinda sputtered, then was ok for a few, then just died and wont start now, has spark(blue kinda) just put new plugs in today, timing chain about 2 weeks ago, also pick up coil, and icm all new, didnt get any codes, it has fire, fuel, just wont start, we pulled the coil wire off, has alot of spark, plenty of feul, just put new feul pump in about a year ago, underneath the dist. cap all the metal tabs were coroded with a white powder and on the dist. cap, the center piece where the coil wire hooks on, well on the boot that plugs on the cap side from the coil was really corroded on the top of the cap, can someone give me some suggestions?

Sounds like it has a lean mixture or make sure you bought the right spark plugs for the motor.

I know I have the right plugs, she was driving and it just died, and before installing the new plugs, we checked the fire and some fired yellow, and some were blue, then we put the new plugs in and they are firing like a blue color

Clean the tabs on the distributor cap and also the center piece where the coil hooks up to. The contact surfaces must be clean or the resistance gets too great and there fore the spark is weak.

Ya know I went thru this BS of car dying
while pregnant wife was driving car and it died during light rain at intersection.
Luckily I got the call at work, RAN to her & pushed ride outta way.
After experimenting with every G0dknown idea by anyone, I pulled old ACCEL COIL WITH OVER 10 YEARS & 100,000 MILES ON IT & damned if every jaw (including mine) didn't drop as it started.
I try to save the aggrivation factor for others & other "fun stuff" on these rides.
COIL
Save the effort but it tends to be too many time worn out coil
I mean look at where is the coil located, ya know.....
Yeah, as the Heavens open upon the former frowning car owner....
Oh Hell having fun with Easter coming, too ya know!
IF the Pope can talk weird & people be happy why can't I sing the praises of a good ACCEL coil to make your car operate? Kinda like Dr. Frankenstein
"IT'S ALIVE I TELL YOU!!!".

Yeah the clouds have parted, a calm fell upon the state of disrepair.
Oh glory to Advance Auto for lower prices than what I said!
I paid $36 for my Accel coil set up. Worth it!
Glad the idea worked for ya.
