Rerouting EGR Vacuum stuff..?
How will this affect things? The good and/or the bad.
Basically stock 2.8L stuff on a 3.4L. 2030 cam. 16-17 vacuum idling...
Switching from the stock red route to the yellow route. I don't really feel like messing with the EGR crap, but I've read (in the search that I did about this ) it might kill some mpg if I just unhook it/plug it up. What will this vacuum line switch do? My diaphram works with the throttle... checked it underneath and revved it a little... and moves with the throttle pretty much.
I would have just lowered the car (on jackstands.. doing a bunch of crap to it) and driven it... but I don't want to go through all the effort, and hurricane Ivan is just about here... trying to mess with the car without getting too involved with anything right now..
