i need help with a little prob.....

please help , i have searched the board for help on this before i asked , right here goes.
i have an annoying little gremlin messing with my car. first off when under gentle acceleration its a bit juddery as in it tends to wobble back and forth making it quite hard to drive smooth at low throttle , seems to get better above 3000 rpm with more than 1/4 throttle, it also wobbles on over run when you let the throttle off, seems to do it more while rolling slowly in 1st or 2nd. but i can notice it in all gears if i come on and off the gas slightly , also if you change throttle position from say 1/4 to 3/4 for instance.
the next part of the puzzle is when you are coming to a stop the revs jump up to just over 2000 rpm and stay there untill the car is nearly stoped, is this connected or am i looking at 2 seperate problems.
i have changed the tps, map, o2 sensors also fitted new cap ,rotor, plugs and leads. it had a new exhaust system fitted today and nothing has worked , i had it plugged in to a snap on scanner just now and this is what it said......

tested whil on idle with the wire for base timing plugged in so normal idle.

tps 0.70v
block learn 120
o2 cross counts 1-15
base pm (ms) 1.7-1.8
map ("hg) 11.7
baro("hg) 30.4
map v 1.60
baro v 5.00
egr 1 2 and 3 off
spark adv 23
air temp 31

after this was unpluged we checked the base timing and it was sitting at 5* BTC so i adjusted it to11* BTC.
please help as its not fun to drive.
oh the cars a 1992 3.1 V6 5speed manual

Re, are you getting any codes

only 1, getting a 42 code but i think this is just where i had the wire off to do the base timing.

it's a stick. is this a shaking as in vibration or a shaking as in the direction the car is pointing?

if it is like a vibration: does it fell like somone is moving your transmition,. like a shaking from the middle of the car? if so it may be time for a new clutch. or new transmission mounts.

shaking

trany mount is a bit wobbly but its more of a bucking/ missfire. also the engine sort of misses on tick over but not a constant miss like from a bad plug, more of a random miss. i dont think it could be any sensors as i changed most of them, what sort of symptoms would you get if the distributor was bad?
you will have to excuse the way i explain things, after all i am English lol
