Found a 60*V6 pioneer to racing.

I have come across info that Ryan Falconer of "Ryan Falconer Racing Engines" is one of the pioneers that GM contracted to buyild there factory race motors back in the 80's.

I sent an E-mail to find out if he still works with 60*V6's- Well see if I get any response.

Mr Falconer,

It has come to my attention through research that you were involved in developing a fuel injection manifold setup for GM on their 60*V6 race motors. I know this is probably years old info, but by chance do you have any info or still happen to have one of these setups on a back shelf that you'd be willing to part with. Also do you still work the the RWD 60*V6 motors? If so what other features can you offer me in the way of a performance race motor (aka- specialty machine work on heads, block crank, etc)

Thank you for any info-
Sincerely, Dean Ekas

If you can't find a Falconer intake, there is a guy that used to make an intake mani that would mount 3 X 2 barrel Weber carbs. I tried to track one down with no luck. Pomona is probably the only possibility.

..

That intake on a race motor is my desktop wallpaper! It really is nice, reminds me of an earlier Porsche design. Wonder what it does for the power band...

Torque curve is 1800-8000 rpms. My problem is MAF and the ol smog game here in So.Cal. I'd like to leave the factory computer in the car (but run it off an aftermarket setup) and just swap things for smog checks (Just reconnect the original stock manifolds and reconnect the original wiring and distributer.)

I didn't know these were availiable(maybe) when I decided to built my custom setup. Decisions, decisions, decisions.

I agree fbodtrek, that intake looks mean.

I sent two separate E-mails and never recieved a response from anyone at Ryan Falconer Racing Engines. Not even a courtousy "No, we can not help" either so far.

According to his website, he seems plenty busy w/ his V-12 applications.
He'll probably come around when he gets a bit of free time... have a little faith in another gearhead.
