questions about the inside of this 86 TA
http://www.pontiac.cz/car_detail.php?id=434
Did this car come from factory with the lighter grey boot and shifter or was it changed out? I love the way the inside of it looks! Love the red it looks sharp on this car!
What years had the carpet on the rear area covers and the trunk styled sunk cover as this one shows in one of the pictures? I want to change mine out to have it as well.
Thanks
Donnie H.

I couldn't see the pic.
On my Firebird I am changing to that described interior.
I scored mine from a Berlinetta Camaro, later 80's model. The front kick panels also are carpeted.
Rest of "stuff", I'm gonna "vinyl paint" or possibly make from scrap leather pieces I have.
I did "same thing" to interior of 1975 Vega I had. Made my own suade leather shifter boot & added nice accents & real wood.
I can't wait to finish my Firebird interior upgrades.
I've even scored factory original carpet to replace my aged carpet. Back hatch carpet, I give up on! I also scored a back hatch "trunk" cover, that flips back & forth. Came with a lock. That's about all the pieces of this "upgraded interior". When all this is upgraded interior is installed, the finale is electric driver seat track and reupholstered back seat (upright part)!
